We held the webinar “The Strong Dollar: a Blessing or a Curse” co organized with Colchester Global Investors, CFA Society Chile and CFA Society Brazil.
In this webinar, Cian O’Brien, CEO of Colchester Global Investors Ireland, Joanna David and Carl Roberts, Investment Officers of the London investment team, reviewed valuations of the main currencies against the dollar, and commented on the effects of post-covid monetary and fiscal policy and the divergences between regions.
Colchester explained how they evaluate the value offered by currencies versus their medium-term equilibrium, how they calculate the score of financial stability of issuers and discussed the main opportunities and challenges provided by the extreme valuations that have raised in 2022.
