He is currently the Country Risk Senior Manager for Uruguay at Citibank. Previously he was the Corporate Finance, Financial Institutions and Public Sector Head at Citibank Uruguay, leading the relationship with Uruguay’s government and state owned entities, and identifying and executing corporate finance and structured finance solutions for Citi’s clients.
In a previous 8-year stage at Citi, he was a Director in the Financial Strategy Group (FSG) of the investment bank in London and New York, advising clients worldwide on their financial strategies. For two years he was the Head of the Investment Promotion Department at Uruguay’s investment promotion agency, Uruguay XXI.
Adrian has degrees in Accounting and Business Administration from Universidad de la República, Uruguay, and an MBA with Honors from the University of Chicago, where he was a Fulbright scholar. He is also a professor of Corporate Finance at Universidad de Montevideo.
