Arturo Porzecanski in Uruguay
Last Wednesday on November 21, a conference was held by Arturo Porzecanski, Ph.D. organized by CFA Society Uruguay and Academia Nacional de Economía entitled “Perspectivas para mercados emergentes y Cono Sur en un escenario de incertidumbre”.
The topics addressed by Mr. Porzecanski were the main issues that affect our region and emerging markets nowadays: the interest rates normalization in Northern Hemisphere; the situation of the main issuers in Emerging Markets; the relevant news of the White House, the Federal Reserve, and the IMF; the modified program of Argentina with the IMF; and the economic challenges of President Bolsonaro.
