Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Aramendía was a Senior Associate in the Consulting division, specializing in M&A, at Price Waterhouse Coopers Uruguay.
Mr. Aramendía holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, both from the University of Montevideo in Uruguay.

He has 5 years of experience as a trader at BankBoston and nearly 20 years at Santander in both Uruguay and Spain. Throughout his career, he has held roles such as Banker, Trader, Corporate Banking professional, Head of Investments, and Manager of Private Banking and Select.

Franco Mercatini is a Certified Public Accountant graduated from the University of Montevideo, holds an MBA from IE Business School, and has been a CFA Charterholder since 2018.
He currently works at Latin Securities in the capital markets / institutional investments area, focusing on financial analysis, portfolio management, and investment product development.

He has worked as a fixed income trader at Scotiabank Uruguay since 2014. He is an economist from the Universidad Catolica del Uruguay and CFA Charterholder since 2016. He has more than 15 years in the local financial industry.

Previously, he was an Economic Studies analyst and Market Risk Analyst at the Superintendency of Financial Services of the Central Bank of Uruguay.

He was a Finance professor at the Catholic University of Uruguay from 2009 to 2020.
